Adventure Forest

Imagine.....swinging from trees! What an exciting day was had by all! This activity took some of us out of our comfort zones, but I was so proud of everyone as they climbed and balanced high up above the ground.

Imagine.....a day of caving adventures. Well that is exactly what our Year 4's did. Waipu caves were the destination and Anna was our guide.

Rosie Boom

Yesterday we were very lucky to meet a 'real' author. Rosie Boom has written short stories for School Journals, and she has recently had her new book published called "Where Lions Roar at Night." Vincent van Gogh Art

Vincent Van Gogh was an Impressionist painter. Some of his paintings were full of light and colour. We used some of Van Gogh's techniques to paint our sunflowers. We used quick brush strokes (dabbing) and swirling brush strokes for the background.
