Louis!

Imagine juggling while riding a unicycle! We had Louis visit us showing us what he could do on his high unicycle. It must have been a real challenge. He needed courage and persistence to succeed.

ZERO WASTE

Last week Anna from Zero Waste came to teach us how to reduce the amount of rubbish we throw out. We are trying hard to reuse things and recycle others. On Tuesday Room 12 had 51 things to throw in the bin from our lunch boxes. Then on Wednesday with careful planning we only had 15 things to throw away. We rose to the challenge, and Anna was pleased with us. Keep up the great work, Room 12!

Mary MacKillop Day

On Friday it was Mary Mackillop day and our whanau groups were split into 3 teams. I was on the back field my team was Team 2.
My favourite game was shark attack, you had to have two people to be the shark and have cones and big balls, and a bit of people. When the game started you had to try to protect the balls and try not to let the sharks kick the ball out of the cones. Soon it was the end of it and we got ice-blocks they were yum.
It was fun.

Challenges

This morning our teacher had a challenge for us. First it was arm wrestling and my buddy was Charmaine and the strongest was me. My second buddy was Hannah. She won out of me and her and my last buddy was Natalia and I couldn't really beat her. The next challenge was pushing your partners hands down. My first partner was Esther and we were even. My next partner was Tori and she won out of her and me. It was AWSOME!
